About Springfield Meadows
Springfield Meadows is a multi-award winning, Climate Positive development of 25 homes in Oxfordshire. The houses are build to Passivhaus energy standards and are better than zero-carbon making them climate positive. They are also net-zero energy and that means really comfortable living with low bills.
With a focus on high quality design and place making, its location provides a superb combination of rural living with easy access to village, town, and city amenities. It’s just seven miles from Abingdon and eleven miles from the centre of Oxford with an electric car club on site and 2 Nissan Leafs available for residents to hire. There is a bus into Swindon or Oxford from the end of Bullockspits Lane – less than 5 minutes walk from you new home, every 15 minutes.
Only 1 of the 25 homes now remain. Grayling House. It is currently being built (see image on the right with Grayling House seen in blue before the cladding is fitted) and are available, off-plan. Beautiful shared spaces include a wildflower meadow, orchard, and pond, designed to help to create a thriving community and to maximise biodiversity.
Springfield Meadows has been awarded One Planet Living Global Leader status by the leading environmental charity, Bioregional and the development recently won the OxLEP Emerge Pathfinder EP:50 award, OxProps Best residential development 2021 and at the Structural Timber Awards, it won Best Custom Build 2021 and the Best Timber Framed Project of the Year which is their ‘Best in Show award’! We have also partnering with Bioregional, using their One Planet Living framework and the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) to make the scheme as wildlife-rich as possible.
